Pastor Jayson was ordained in 2017 after graduating from Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary and previously served Our Savior’s in Laurel, MT. Prior to ordination he completed his seminary internship with Valley of Christ in Frenchtown, MT and Emmaus Campus Ministry. Between internship and his first call he served as the Bridge Pastor at Spirit of Peace in Big Bear, CA.
He understands his calling as ordained minister in the Church of Christ as one lived out in community. Pastor Jayson is the Vice Commander of American Legion Post 26, a Rotarian, volunteer firefighter, board member of Heart Mountain Free Clinic, and Chaplain in the US Navy Reserves. While wearing many different hats, they are all part of his understanding that we are part of the Body of Christ called to share the Good News of God’s love through word and deed.
